- 1 ½ cups All-purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons Organic Cane Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ¾ teaspoon Baking Soda
- ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 cup Nancy’s Organic Vanilla Whole Milk Yogurt
- ¾ cup Whole Milk
- 1 Egg
- 3 tablespoons Butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Orange Zest
- Additional butter and chopped pecans, for garnish
Grand Marnier Syrup
- 2/3 cup Orange Juice
- ½ cup Powdered Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Grand Marnier
Heat a waffle iron and prepare with cooking spray or oil. To make the syrup, stir together the orange juice and Grand Marnier in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Sift the powdered sugar into the orange juice mixture. Once combined, remove the syrup from the heat and allow it to cool.
To make the waffle batter, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl. Separately, whisk together the yogurt, milk, egg, melted butter and orange zest. Slowly incorporate the dry and wet ingredients. Do not overmix. Pour the batter into the prepared waffle iron and cook until crispy.
Garnish the waffles with butter and chopped pecans. Finish with Grand Marnier Syrup to serve.
