Orange Cardamom Fruit Salad with Nancy’s Yogurt

Ingredients

  • Nancy’s Organic Whole Milk Plain Yogurt

Orange Cardamom Syrup

  • 1 cup Cane Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 Orange, zested and juiced
  • 1 Vanilla Bean
  • 3-5 Cardamom Pods

Fruit

  • 4-6 Pints Fresh Berries
  • 4 Kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 2 Oranges, supremed

 

Directions

In a saucepan over medium heat, bring all of the syrup ingredients to a simmer. Intermittently, stir the mixture until the sugar is dissolved. Continue to simmer the mixture until thickened, about 10 minutes. Remove the vanilla bean and cardamom pods and set the syrup aside to cool.

Combine the fruit in a bowl. Just before serving, toss the fruit with half of the syrup. Serve the fruit mixture in dessert bowls with dollops of yogurt. Drizzle each serving with the remaining syrup.
