Featured Product: Nancy’s Organic Whole Milk Vanilla Kefir
- ½ cup White Rice
- 1½ cups Almonds, sliced
- 2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 2 cups Water, divided
- ½ cup Maple Syrup
- 1 cup Nancy’s Organic Whole Milk Vanilla Kefir
Grind the rice, almonds and cinnamon together in a blender until fine. In a medium sized bowl, combine the rice mixture and 1 cup water. Cover and allow to rest in the refrigerator overnight.
On day two, place the mixture back into the blender. Add 1 cup water and maple syrup, and blend until smooth. Into a container, strain the horchata through a fine mesh sieve. Whisk in the kefir.
Pour the horchata over ice to serve and garnish with ground cinnamon.
