Immunity Boosting Smoothie with Carrot, Ginger and Turmeric

Featured Product: Nancy’s Organic Whole Milk Yogurt

 

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. Nancy’s Organic Whole Milk Yogurt
  • 1 Banana, frozen
  • 1 Apple, cored and roughly chopped
  • ½ C. Fresh Carrot Juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Oats
  • 1-inch Piece of Ginger Root, grated
  • ½ tsp. Cinnamon, plus more for garnish
  • ¼ tsp. Turmeric
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. Chopped Walnuts, for garnish

 

Directions

    1. Except for the walnut garnish, combine all ingredients in a blender. Puree until smooth.
    2. Pour into two chilled glasses and garnish with cinnamon and chopped walnuts.
