Creamy Masala Hummus and Pita

Featured Product: Nancy’s Oatmilk Non-Dairy Plain Yogurt

 

Ingredients

Hummus

  • 1 can (15 oz.) Chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • ⅓ cup Tahini
  • 3 tablespoons Nancy’s Plain Oatmilk Non-dairy Yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 teaspoons Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper
  • Pita Bread, toasted

Suggested Toppings

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Flaked Sea Salt

 

Directions

  1. Add the chickpeas and garlic to a blender and pulse to combine.
  2. Blend to incorporate the tahini, Oatmilk yogurt, olive oil and lemon juice into the mixture.
  3. Add the seasonings and blend until smooth.
  4. Spoon the hummus into a serving bowl. Add toppings, as desired and serve with toasted pita.
