Creating a Memorable Holiday Season

‘Tis the season for holiday traditions and gathering around delicious meals! Whether you have long-standing holiday plans like a trip to the tree farm or are creating new traditions this year, the holidays offer a time for making connections and memories, together. We’ve found the simplest plans are sometimes the most meaningful. From taking time to be with family, cooking, and crafting together, we hope your holidays are full of joy and cheer!

CREATE MOMENTS OF CONNECTION

With all the hustle and bustle of the season, it can be easy to get wrapped up in the next to-do list. Taking a moment to unplug, be present, and connect with those you love is a great way to create lasting memories.

CREAM CHEESE SUGAR COOKIESTime with those you love can take many shapes! A neighborhood walk to view holiday lights with a warm drink in hand or a winter hike are all great ways to slow down, reconnect, and take notice of the changing season around you.

Spending a blustery day inside cooking or baking together, is a great way to bring warmth in all its forms. From making time-honored family recipes to whipping up new creations, time in the kitchen can get the whole family involved. Looking for a baked treat? Try these Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies!

Holiday crafts are another great way to relax and connect. This year we have some creative gift crafting with waxed amaryllis bulbs. Of course our co-founder, Chuck Kesey, lead the creative charge and we ended up with beautiful multi-colored bulbs, awaiting the holiday blooms. Together, you can create your own holiday cheer!

SHARING IS CARING

Nothing brings us joy quite like preparing and sharing food with those we love. Before the main course, we like to enjoy time mingling over savory small bites and festive drinks. This simple Creamy Kale Dip using Nancy’s Organic Garlic & Herb Cream Cheese Spread and Nancy’s Organic Lowfat Cottage Cheese pairs perfectly with broccoli florets, sliced bell peppers, sugar snap peas or your favorite cracker, offering nibbles for everyone. A Kesey holiday favorite, the Insanely Delicious Warm Artichoke Dip made with Nancy’s Organic Cream Cheese is another great way to welcome a crowd.

After the main event, sweet treats are in order! Cap the evening with these Almond Sandwich Cookies with Cranberry Jam or with these festive Holiday Wreath Cookies, all made with a delicious Cream Cheese dough.
