Nancy's Creamery Culture Header - Autumn 2009

Nancy's Notes
This is one Cultured Queen! Nancy Van Brash Hamren celebrating 40 years at Springfield Creamery!

ET THEM EAT YOGURT”, proclaimed the Culture Queen of the Springfield Creamery Kingdom…. Well, it wasn’t quite that dramatic, but it sure was fun, as we celebrated Nancy Van Brash Hamren’s 40th anniversary with Springfield Creamery this fall. Hard to believe it has been 40 years since Nancy, the yogurt’s namesake, came to work at the Creamery as our bookkeeper, a job she still holds today. It was at this time that Chuck Kesey’s expertise in the area of probiotics and Nancy’s experience making yogurt were combined and Nancy’s Yogurt was born. The rest is history ….in the meantime, the Culture Queen celebrated and blushed at all the fuss, with her Creamery family and friends, just as royalty who has reigned for 40 years should!
